A beautiful hotel with excellent location. I absolutely loved the gorgeous building, full of beams, the strairs were gorgeous and the patio amazing. I love this style so it was perfect for me. My husband also loved it. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. They seemed genuinely nice, not just because they have to work there. Breakfast was wonderful! They have a very good variety. My favourite was tomato and olive oil on toast, with serrano ham, and everything was delicious. The ladies in charge of the breakfast room were also incredibly nice. The room was beauriful, with a high ceiling full of beams, and the bed was super comfy. Air conditioning was superb, which was a plus as it was very hot in August. Location is spot on to explore both the Albaicín and the area of the cathedral. We could not have wished for a better stay in Granada. I fell in love with the city and the great atmosphere day and night. The Alhambra visit was amazing.... I will go back as soon as I can!

What I loved most about this hotel was the location—you truly can’t beat it! It’s incredibly central, within walking distance of the Alhambra Palace, just a block or two from all the main transportation options, and very close to the Cathedral of Granada. In my opinion, the location is unbeatable. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the hotel itself had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The building has an elevator, which made getting around even easier. Breakfast was pretty good—very complete with a variety of fresh fruits, cereal and milk, eggs, meats, cheese, coffee, tea, jams, and an assortment of breads. It was a great way to start each day! We rented more than one room. Mine was quiet, but one of the rooms experienced a bit of noise when a guest was leaving with their luggage. Even so, it was a lovely stay overall, and I felt it offered great value. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Granada and would happily stay here again!

Wonderful stay! Had a bit of a hike to arrive (the fault of google maps, not the hotel! And found a much more convenient bus when departing!), but so lovely! Great location to access the old city, tons of shops, restaurants, and sights to see in walking distance. The Alhambra is a 15-20 minute walk, and San Nicolas viewpoint also 15 minutes away. The hotel is so beautiful, feels like stepping back in time (in a very pleasant, clean way). The front desk staff (Adrian in particular) were excellent, providing great advice about where to go and what to see. The breakfast is very reasonably priced and is excellent (and Maria who looks after the breakfast is wonderful and efficient, and makes an excellent tortilla!). The room was compact but comfortable, nice beds, good water pressure in the shower. Overall, I would recommend this lovely hotel.

The place is a beautiful location and a wonderful building! It is set up in the more tradition with the rooms around the edges of the balcony overlooking the area that's the breakfast room in the sitting areas. In addition, they have a whole series of tables and sitting areas that you can use to have a drink to cool off at the end of a hike or sightseeing day. However, I would also say one of the main highlights is the staff at the front desk who gave excellent suggestions for Flamenco or tapas and they were so kind and generous with directions and ideas for places to sightsee and walk! That really made the difference for us. Rooms were lovely in decoration and pristine clean! And they stayed beautifully cool even when the weather was very hot 40° C one day.

We were blown away by the location and charm of this hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were full of history and charm. To be able to stay in a 700 year old property was beyond our dreams. The way the bathrooms were integrated in to such an old property was so well done. The beds were very comfortable, the room although a bit small compared to some modern places we stayed was so lovely with it's shuttered windows and views on to the courtyard we couldn't fault it. Highly recommend the Casa del Capitel Nazari for a stay in Granada and we hope to be back to soak up more of this beautiful city. We booked with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law and they were able to give a rooms right next to each other.
